Gravel Rock Construction originated as the Principal Contractor for the GRE Groups flagship development – Ashford Riverside Park – which was under construction between 2017-2023.

With a GDV of £70m, Gravel Rock oversaw the construction of 246 apartments and 26 townhouses, as well as a new public realm, just a short walk from Ashford International Station and Town Centre.

Merging with a specialist Groundworks & Civil Engineering Company in 2024, Gravel Rock has developed into a company with Principal Contractor capabilities of up to £70m and a specialized Groundworks & Civil Engineering team which acts on projects up to £10m across the South East.

Operating primarily, but not solely, across the residential, commercial, agricultural and infrastructure sectors, Gravel Rock works closely with its experienced sister company, FeKTA, who provide the full house of design, production and installation of all metalwork needs.

This allows for Gravel Rock to be a multi-faceted company and cater for the needs of developers, main contractors, land owners, farmers and individuals of all aspirations.
