Pound Lane

The works at Pound Lane commenced with the setting up and fencing off of all designated work areas to ensure safe access and protection of the surrounding residential area. An engineer set out the required datum and levels, which were verified before proceeding. Channel drainage, including ACOs, gullies, and manhole covers, was installed to ensure proper surface water management. Kerbs, edgings, and sleepers were laid in accordance with the design, followed by the installation of block paving and slabs to complete the hard landscaping. Soft landscaping elements were then installed to complement the completed hard areas. Throughout the project, all works underwent rigorous quality assurance checks and were signed off by Gravel Rock.
