Project name: Costa Coffee
The works began with the excavation of the foundations to the required depth and dimensions, followed by the pouring of concrete into the foundation areas to create a stable base. Excavation was also carried out for drainage trenches and catch pits, which were installed along with the drainage pipes and covers to ensure efficient water flow. Kerbs were installed to define and shape the boundaries of the site, followed by the installation of paving, including block paving, slabbing, and acco channels for proper drainage.
Additionally, lamp columns were installed for street lighting, and various street furniture, including tables, bins, and handrails, were set up for accessibility and comfort. Concrete pads were poured for signage installations, ensuring secure foundations for each sign. Finally, Type 1 material was regulated and compacted to provide a solid base, ready for the tarmac pour to complete the surface finish.
