Project name: Hersden
The works at Hersden began with the preparation and excavation required for S278 and S106 connections, ensuring the ground was opened to the correct depth and alignment. Drainage runs were installed to accommodate both storm water and foul water, with connection points carefully formed to link into the wider network. Road gulleys were set out and fitted to manage surface water effectively, providing a reliable flow into the new system.
At the entrance to the development, a new cross-over point was constructed to create safe and practical access, with all works carried out in accordance with highways standards. The site entrance was shaped and built to accommodate vehicle movements, while ensuring proper falls for water management. Once the drainage and connections were complete, the surrounding areas were reinstated and prepared for the final surfacing to deliver a durable, fully compliant finish.
